The Irvine maker of dietary supplements and pharmaceuticals from natural plant extracts reported a net loss of $3.3 million, or 24 cents a share, for the first fiscal quarter, compared with a net loss of $4.4 million, or 32 cents a share, for the year-earlier period. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 rose to $5.4 million from $225,956.
