Gordon H. Beatty School, 8201 Country Club Drive, will host “Operation Good Start,” a three-day orientation for kindergarten students and their parents from 8:45 a.m. to noon Wednesday through Friday. Through such meetings, the school, which is in the Buena Park School District, aims to introduce parents and children to the kindergarten setting by easing first-day fears for students and increasing parent involvement at home.
