Interlink Electronics Names Engineering Vice President

Interlink Electronics in Camarillo has named Michael W. Ambrose to vice president of engineering.

He will be responsible for the company’s engineering and product development activities.

Ambrose has more than 14 years of experience in portable and pen-based computing, holding positions at Communication Intelligence Corp., Logitech and Compaq Computer. He has both engineering and marketing experience.

“As a director at Interlink Electronics for the past 1 1/2 years, Mr. Ambrose has already made significant contributions to our business,” said E. Michael Thoben, chairman, CEO and president.

Interlink is a developer of “mouse-capable” interactive remote controls, pen input pads, PC touchpads and integrated pointing devices. Its customers include Sony, IBM, Microsoft, NEC, SHARP, Toshiba, InFocus Systems and Mitsubishi.
