Getting Married Under Pressure

Mirna Frangie, 29, and James Eric Harper, 24, took the plunge and got married in an underwater ceremony Tuesday. A student at the College of Oceaneering and an avid scuba diver, Harper said his vows in a saturation diving bell--a pressurized vehicle used for deep sea dives--40 feet below the surface off the coast of Wilmington. Conveniently, the diving bell holds only two people. The Rev. Art Bartlett conducted the ceremony topside, communicating via radio.
