Gov. Gray Davis has recognized Ventura-based American Commercial Bank for its support of the state’s Small Business Loan Guarantee Program and its involvement with the California Coastal Rural Development Corp.

In a letter sent to the bank, the governor gave special recognition to ACB Vice Presidents Mark Dufresne, Donna Turner and Michael Orman for their involvement in the program.

“We are proud to be involved in this worthwhile program because it promotes growth in the small-business sector in our own county,” said Gerald J. Lukiewski, bank president and chief executive.
