Rap mogul Sean “Puffy” Combs has decided to continue living in New York and has leased his California home for a year at $25,000 a month.

The Grammy-winning rapper, who heads the record label Bad Boy Entertainment and recently launched his own Sean John apparel line, bought his California home, a newly built house in the Beverly Hills area, in December for about $3 million but never moved into it, real estate sources said.

He leased out the seven-bedroom, 8,300-square-foot house to an interior designer.

Combs, 29, has a midtown Manhattan recording studio, a Park Avenue townhouse and a $2.7-million Easthampton, N.Y., estate.

Besides his clothing company, Combs has such other sidelines as Notorious magazine, Bad Boy Film and Television, and Justin’s Restaurants, named for his 5-year-old son. Combs, a bachelor, has been dating actress-singer Jennifer Lopez.

Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency, Beverly Hills, handled the lease.

Paula Hart, executive producer of the ABC series “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” and mother of the series’ star, Melissa Joan Hart, has purchased a Sherman Oaks home for about its $2.3-million asking price.

The producer is a partner with her daughter Melissa in Hartbreak Films. The 23-year-old actress, who stars in the movie “Drive Me Crazy,” has her own home in the Hollywood Hills.

The Sherman Oaks house has six bedrooms and eight baths in 7,800 square feet. Built in 1989, the gated home also has 40-foot ceilings, a pool and a spa.

Matt Epstein of Team 2000, Re/Max on the Boulevard, had the listing, and Patty Ray of Prudential-John Aaroe, Studio City, represented the buyers, sources said.

Considine, about 60, appears in the upcoming Mary Stuart Masterson movie “The Book of Stars.” He was a regular in the ‘70s and ‘80s on the daytime soap “Another World.” His second feature-film script is in development. His first, which he co-wrote, was the Robert Altman film “A Wedding” (1978).

The Considines, who also recently purchased a winter home in Palm Springs, live in the state of Washington, not far from one of the first theaters owned by Considine’s impresario grandfather, Alexander Pantages.

Built in 1947, the Palisades home has three bedrooms and a bonus room in 2,000 square feet. It was listed with Ann Cruchley and Peggy Karp of Coldwell Banker’s Brentwood East office.
