New Driving Law

Regarding the article, “New Driving Law’s Restrictions Make Turning 16 Not So Sweet,” (Nov. 14):
I can sympathize with the unfair feelings this new law is causing.
I turned 16 in January 1998; therefore, I haven’t had to suffer the disadvantages of the law.
However, the statistics show this law is improving the safety of our city streets and freeways.
So I must say this is an excellent law, no matter how unjust it may seem.
In this case, lawmakers have the safety of the public in their best interest.
