Picky Pilot Gets Fired

EAGAN, Minn. —
Northwest Airlines said Monday it fired a pilot who delayed a takeoff for more than an hour because he didn’t like the meal he was served on the plane and took a taxi to get food.
Passengers on the Nov. 23 flight to Detroit complained about the delay. The unidentified pilot had 22 years of service with the airline.
