Stories Make for a ‘Turnaround’

Having rapped the staff for the Staples Center issue, I am amazed at the turnaround exhibited in the Nov. 14 issue.

At long last, I found two articles (“From Rocketeers to Solar Sailors,” by Marvin J. Wolf, and “The Domestic Archives,” by Molly Selvin) that examined serious issues in depth.

Up to now, for the past year or so, I have treated this magazine as only a slightly better version of Parade, which really is a throwaway.
