SYDNEY, Australia —
A 7-year-old boy on a camping trip with his father awoke today to find a 12-foot python wrapped around his neck, Australian police said.
The boy’s father freed his son, but not before the python bit the boy several times on the face and neck. The boy was flown from Queensland’s Moreton Island to a hospital and later released.
