A teenage boy faces burglary charges in connection with the theft of about 300 Christmas toys from the Salvation Army in Dinuba.

Police interviewed three other teenagers between the ages of 14 and 17 about the burglary, which occurred Friday night or Saturday morning.

None of the teenagers’ names were released because they are minors, police said.

The stolen toys have not been recovered.

Five anonymous tips led police to the suspects.

“The last couple turned out to be good,” Dinuba Police Sgt. Robert Mejorado said.

Police arrested the one teenager at his home in Dinuba on Wednesday. He was released to his parents pending formal charges, officials said.

The other three have not been arrested or charged, but police believe they were involved “in some form or fashion,” Mejorado said.

“We are still attempting to recover the stolen property,” Mejorado said. “We’re hoping they’ll have a change of heart.”
