A woman who once pleaded no contest to trying to run down some children has been charged with shoving a 15-year-old boy in front of a bus, which nearly hit him.

Alma Sibert, 59, was jailed on $15,000 bail on charges including aggravated assault.

Police Chief Terry Holcomb said Sibert and the boy, whose name was not disclosed, were arguing Tuesday over her grandson when she shoved the teenager.

In 1995, she drove onto a sidewalk outside an elementary school in an attempt to run down eight children she believed had fought with her grandson. Nobody was hurt.
