Ice Dogs Win on Road Again

Sean Tallaire scored two goals as the Long Beach Ice Dogs defeated the Cleveland Lumberjacks, 3-1, Sunday for their third consecutive road victory in the International Hockey League.

Cleveland led, 1-0, before Tallaire scored on a power play at 4:35 of the second period to tie the score. Tallaire’s second goal was short-handed later in the second for a 2-1 lead.

Tallaire has seven goals and three assists in his last six games.

Long Beach’s Fredrick Jobin made it 3-1 with 24 seconds left in the game.

Ryan Bach stopped 19 shots for the Ice Dogs.
