Staying Put: Barry Diller may by trying to reshape the online landscape with his deal to combine Ticketmaster, Home Shopping Network and Lycos into a $21.5-billion company called USA Lycos Interactive Networks. But Ticketmaster Online-CitySearch, which will account for almost 20% of the combined company, will stay put in Pasadena.

“Same bat time, same bat channel,” said Charles Conn, chief executive of Ticketmaster Online-CitySearch. “There’s no reason at all to move a company with several hundred people out there” to Waltham, Mass., where the Internet portal company Lycos is located.

Los Angeles-based Ticketmaster will stay put as well, Conn said.

No official word yet from Diller about where the new USA Lycos will be headquartered.
