The Sparks announced their 32-game WNBA schedule and a raise in ticket prices Tuesday for the 1999 season.

Tickets for Sparks’ games at the Great Western Forum will range from $7.50 to $35, up from $6-$24 last season. The Sparks open their season against Sacramento at home on June 10.

The WNBA now has 12 teams, with the additions of the expansion Orlando Miracle and Minnesota Lynx. A July 14 All-Star game, at a site to be determined, has also been added to the schedule, released by the WNBA on Tuesday.

Thirty-two WNBA games will be nationally televised--on NBC, ESPN and Lifetime--including six Sparks games.

No announcement was made on how the league will absorb players from the defunct ABL, though insiders say there might be a four-round draft of ABL players with each team permitted to sign two.
