Share

About 200 executives at ABC Inc. in New York will receive individual incentive packages today as part of a plan to relocate network programming operations to the Burbank headquarters of its parent company, Walt Disney Co. Disney is constructing a new building that will house several hundred employees from ABC Entertainment in Century City and the key programming and network executives from New York. About 4,500 employees will remain in New York, including sports, news, sales and broadcast operations. ABC President Robert Iger, ABC Television Network President Patricia Fili-Krushel and President of Broadcasting Robert Callahan will all have offices in the new building. Sources said the 200 employees have until August to tell ABC whether they would make the move west, and have until September 2000 to relocate. That is when the new building in Burbank will open.
