Now that she’s proclaimed her candidacy for the 70th Assembly District, what will Mayor Christina L. Shea do next? One project: a guest stint in the next installment of comedian Tim Conway’s “Dorf” series. In “Dorf in the Military,” to be filmed in part at the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station, Shea will have a speaking role as a nurse. The direct-to-video presentation is scheduled for a spring or summer shoot, Shea said.

Shea said the director cast her after she was on Tim Conway Jr.’s radio show. The younger Conway wanted to interview Shea about Irvine, a city he’s considering moving to, she said.
