SAN CLEMENTE

A recently published book detailing the history of San Clemente from 1925 to the present is available from the Heritage of San Clemente Foundation. Doris Walker, a Dana Point historian, wrote the coffee table-style book. She found old photographs, many of San Clemente’s founder, Ole Hanson, at his former home--known as Casa Romantica. The book also contains a history of the city’s founding and old newspaper articles. Information: (949) 369-1299.
