The Planning Commission recently approved a request to build a 38,000-square-foot Alzheimer’s care facility at Junipero Serra Road and Camino Capistrano. Plans call for a 48-unit building with a central courtyard and 42 parking spaces on the 2.7-acre vacant lot owned by Aliso Viejo-based Silverado Senior Living. The residential portions of the building would be single-story and administrative offices would be on a 2,818-square-foot second story, according to design plans.
