Michael Schlesinger noted that he was unduly credited with the supervision of several Columbia Pictures restorations (Letters, Feb. 14). While this is quite correct, he goes on to credit Grover Crisp, Columbia’s vice president of asset management, with this work.

The “Lawrence of Arabia” reconstruction and restoration was performed over a 26-month period. It was extremely intensive work for all involved. During that period, Crisp was never heard from, offered no assistance and, as far I know, had no involvement whatsoever.
