* I am completely disgusted with the protesting going on in Westminster’s Little Saigon district (Feb. 22). I feel these protesters should be immediately deported. They make a great noise about their freedoms and rights, then presume to deny someone else his rights. This is the United States of America. As repugnant as the Communist display is, it is still the individual’s right to display it. These people came from a country where the words “freedom” and “rights” have no meaning and obviously they have not learned since they have been here. And yes, I am a Vietnam War veteran.

I served in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969 and at the time believed I was doing the right thing. If the protesting Vietnamese in Little Saigon are representative of what I risked life and limb for, I surely wasted my time.
