Suspect in Deadly Bombing Charged
From Times Wire Reports
An Irish court charged Colm Murphy, 48, a builder who owns a bar in the Irish town of Dundalk, in connection with a bombing that killed 29 people in Omagh, Northern Ireland, on Aug. 15. Murphy was charged with conspiring to cause the deadly explosion and with membership in an illegal organization. The five-minute court appearance by the diminutive and balding Murphy, who spoke only to confirm his name, followed months of intense investigation and a flurry of arrests by police north and south of the border.
