CalComp Talks Sale of Units to Tekgraf

Share

Computer graphics equipment maker CalComp Technology Inc. of Anaheim said Thursday that it is negotiating to sell its North American service businesses and worldwide parts business to an Atlanta computer graphics distributor.

Tekgraf Inc., which also manufactures custom personal computers, said it signed a letter of intent to enter negotiations to buy the operations from CalComp, which last month had said it would liquidate the company.

CalComp, which sold off its display products and manufacturing divisions last month, has struggled unsuccessfully to become profitable after being spun off by Lockheed Corp. several years ago.
