In keeping with his vow to open communication with the public, Mayor Tim Keenan will make himself available to residents one hour before regular council meetings. Keenan became mayor in December after serving about two years on the council. Prior mayors held the open office hours but dropped them for lack of interest, city officials said. Keenan has decided to revive the practice beginning Monday at 4 p.m. at the City Council’s office in the west wing of City Hall, 5275 Orange Ave. Citizens are invited to discuss any issues that concern them.
