Low-income senior and disabled homeowners are eligible for a community program that provides free exterior house painting. Paint Your Heart Out Anaheim brings together thousands of volunteers who repaint, repair and revitalize houses and yards. Since 1990, 317 homeowners have received assistance and more than $2.5 million in neighborhood improvements have been made.

Homes will be painted May 1. Applicants are selected based on the homeowner’s need and the condition of the house. Applications and information: (714) 974-9481.
