Syracuse, N.Y.-based Carlisle Cos. said its Carlisle Tire & Wheel Co. has acquired privately held Global Manufacturers Corp. of Paramount, which makes stamped steek wheeks fir industrial and recreational applications and designs and produces styled steel sheels for sale to the automotive aftermarket. Carlisle also acquired Global’s affiliate, Acro-Coat Inc., which provides specialty painting and coating services to the wheel market. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
