New Covenant Means a Heart From God

Share

A NEW HEART: “What is new about the new covenant . . . is the creation of a new heart to receive the covenant of God--a heart soft to the things of God and recognizing God’s will. This heart has a new-and-improved feature, slanted toward obedience instead of toward sin. We are not preaching bootstrap Christianity, nor are we promoting a leaf-turning ministry. This is about a new heart given to us from God as a gift.”

--Rev. John McFarland, speaking at the 10 a.m. service at Christ Our King Fellowship, meeting in the Community Room of the Anaheim Memorial Medical Plaza, Anaheim Hills.

ANOTHER WITNESS: “The Book of Mormon is another witness of Jesus Christ and as such needs to be shared with all people. Members of the Church ought to take every opportunity to do that.”
