Ex-Nanny Can’t Profit From Story

From Times Wire Reports

A settlement reached between Louise Woodward and the family who sued her for the wrongful death of the 8-month-old boy in her care prevents the former English au pair from profiting by selling her story. A jury found Woodward guilty last year of second-degree murder in the 1997 death of Matthew Eappen. But a judge reduced the conviction to manslaughter. She was allowed to return home to Elton, England, in June. Under the agreement, Woodward must donate any money she gets from the case to the children’s charity UNICEF.
