Residents can get a taste of William Shakespeare’s most famous plays Saturday during the Cultural Arts Committee’s presentation of “Shakescenes” at the Mission Viejo Library. The performance will include vignettes from “Romeo and Juliet,” “As You Like It,” “The Taming of the Shrew” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
The show starts at 7 p.m. in the Garden of Knowledge at the library, 25209 Marguerite Parkway. Bring a blanket or a chair to sit on. The $5 tickets can be bought in advance at the Community Services Department, 25909 Pala. Information: (949) 470-8440.
