Jason Priestley, the former “Beverly Hills 90210” heartthrob who appears with Ewan McGregor and Ashley Judd in the upcoming thriller “Eye of the Beholder,” has listed a Santa Monica house at about $800,000.

Priestley, 28, also stars with Lou Gossett Jr. in the movie “The Highwayman,” which recently completed shooting. Priestley, who directed more than 20 episodes of “Beverly Hills 90210” before leaving the series last fall after 8 1/2 years, is directing the Fox-TV movie “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye,” which will air in November.

The house was going to be Priestley’s bachelor pad, but he closed escrow on it in February, the same month he married makeup artist Ashlee Peterson. The newlyweds settled into a larger L.A.-area home that the actor had purchased in 1998.

His Santa Monica house is behind gates and has three bedrooms in about 3,000 square feet, with golf-course views. The house was gutted and rebuilt in 1998.

Fred Henry at Prudential-John Aaroe & Associates, Los Feliz, has the listing.

Jeanne Tripplehorn, who co-stars with Hugh Grant in the upcoming movie “Mickey Blue Eyes,” has bought a one-bedroom apartment for $475,000 on Lower Fifth Avenue in New York City. Julia Roberts lives in the same building.

Tripplehorn, 35, had a leading role in “Sliding Doors” (1998) and co-starred in “ ‘Til There Was You” (1997), “Waterworld” (1995) and “The Firm” (1993). She made her film debut as a police psychologist in “Basic Instinct” (1992).

She rented the apartment before buying it. The 1,100-square-foot unit is in a 10-story, ‘20s Beaux Arts building with curved, ornate windows and high ceilings.

Bruce L. Ehrmann of Stribling, Wells & Gay represented Tripplehorn; Pasquale Strippoli of Douglas Elliman had the listing.

The home, where the actor lived from 1973 until he died at 89 in 1997, was built in 1927. It has 48 feet of beach frontage, a four-bedroom main house and a two-bedroom guest cottage as well as a loft-style office and a spa.

The house was sold by trustees for the estate of Meredith, who played Rocky Balboa’s manager in the “Rocky” movies and appeared in films and on stage for more than 70 years.

Irene Tsu of Coldwell Banker, Beverly Hills, represented the buyer; Steve Weiss and Brady Westwater of Coldwell Banker, Malibu, shared the listing with Vince Muselli, Santa Monica.
