Auto Club Expands Insurance Coverage

Small-business owners, landlords and mobile-home dwellers can now get insurance through the Automobile Club of Southern California as the membership organization expands its product lines.

The auto club has been increasing its insurance services in recent years, growing well beyond its roots as a roadside services provider, travel agent and auto insurer. In addition to auto, home, life and umbrella liability insurance, the club offers motorcycle, motor-home and personal-watercraft coverage.

New coverages include small-business, rental property and mobile-home policies as well as collectible-car and large-watercraft coverage.

The insurance is underwritten by the Interinsurance Exchange of the Automobile Club and independent insurance companies.
