New York Dancer to Join O.C. College

Jose Costas, a principal dancer for nine years with Ballet Hispanico of New York, will become a full-time faculty member at Orange Coast College on Aug. 16. Costas, 41, was born in Puerto Rico and earned a master’s degree in dance at New York University before joining Ballet Hispanico. He will teach beginning and intermediate ballet and jazz dance classes and a dance repertory course at the Costa Mesa college.
