Young AIDS Activist Shows the Power of Determination

I read your article on Hydeia Broadbent (“One Day at a Time,” July 13) and was so touched that it brought tears to my eyes. I had heard stories of this girl, but no one could tell me her name. I would like to send my prayers to Hydeia and her family and thank them for showing us that you can conquer anything you want by putting your mind to it. Thanks, Hydeia, for showing how life is so precious.
