Inevitably, the familiar chemical perker-upper has found its way into the current hot category of extreme mint candies. Penguin Caffeinated Peppermints have all the extreme mint qualities--breath improvement, splash of aspartame, looks cooler than eating a Pez--plus a little boost. Sold in various mom and pop stores, also selected Bed Bath & Beyond, Urban Outfitters and espresso shops.
