Spying by China
The Chinese government insults all Americans by asking us to buy all kinds of things while it is stealing our missile and weapons technology and funding corrupt politicians. We have tried to help the Chinese move to a free society by buying massive amounts of goods from them at the expense of companies in the United States or Europe that cannot compete against the ultra-low pay of Chinese workers. We are fools if we keep buying Chinese goods.
They are using our money and the technology they have stolen (or been given by the treasonous Clinton administration) to become a far greater threat to world peace and freedom. It may be difficult to ignore a nice pattern or style or to pay a few cents or dollars more for something not made in China, but it is important that we stop supporting the Chinese government. Anybody who has any doubts just needs to remember the Chinese tanks rolling over the college students who erected a small replica of the Statue of Liberty.

Re “Is Clinton Losing China,” Commentary, May 26: A question for Tom Plate: When did China become ours to lose? China has been China for thousands of years. It seems to me that China belongs, as it always has, to the Chinese.
