VILLA PARK

Villa Park High School senior Jasmine A. Cheung was selected recently to receive a college-sponsored National Merit Scholarship. He is among 4,100 outstanding students nationwide chosen for the awards. The competition began with about 1.2 million students from nearly 20,000 U.S. high schools. The scholarships range from $250 to $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study.
