VENTURA COUNTY PEOPLE

* Judy Diaz of Oak View, an associate of Tolman & Wiker Insurance in Ventura, has been certified as an associate in risk management with the Insurance Institute of America. To achieve the designation, Diaz completed the institute’s experience, ethics and examination requirements.

Diaz is a former instructor with the Insurance Educational Assn.

* Carmen Ramos has been named vice president and branch manager of the downtown Oxnard branch of American Commercial Bank, 155 South A St. Her previous banking experience includes operations, customer service, financial sales and lending.

American Commercial Bank has branches in Ventura, Oxnard and Camarillo.
