Russian Jet Crashes at Paris Air Show
Associated Press
LE BOURGET, France —
A prototype of Russia’s most advanced fighter jet crashed during a demonstration at Saturday’s opening of the 43rd Paris Air Show.
The Sukhoi-30 MK appeared to lose power coming out of a dive at an airfield north of Paris. It plunged to the ground, then soared back into the air with its tail aflame.
The two pilots ejected before the jet crashed. The cause was unclear.
