Deutsche Financial Services announced Tuesday that it will relocate from Newport Center--its home for the last 19 years--to the top three floors of Orange County’s tallest high-rise, South Coast Metro’s Plaza Tower. Deutsche, a consumer finance group that provides loans for recreational vehicles, boats and manufactured homes, replaces Avco Financial Services, another consumer finance giant. Avco announced its departure early this year and was soon followed by Rockwell International Corp. The Offices of South Coast Plaza is working with Rockwell, which is leaving before the end of its 10-year lease, to find a replacement tenant for its 100,000-square-foot space.

Deutsche had considered expanding at its location at Newport Center, but company officials said there just wasn’t enough space.
