* Update--Not much has changed with the Houston Comets, who raced to a 27-3 record last summer and won a second consecutive WNBA championship. They are unbeaten this season and when they beat the Lynx at Minneapolis on Saturday, Cynthia Cooper, with 22 points, was in double figures for the 69th consecutive game. Cooper, the league scoring leader last season as well as the most valuable player, was also 12 for 12 from the line Saturday. The Sparks, who end their longest trip--five games in 13 days--are coming off a 73-69 victory at Charlotte on Saturday. Tonight’s game will be preceded by an emotion-charged ceremony. Kim Perrot, the Comet point guard their first two seasons, under treatment for lung and brain cancer, will make her first appearance at a game, where she will be given her 1998 championship ring. The Sparks practiced Monday without Tamecka Dixon, who has bursitis in her knee, and Nina Bjedov, who has a sore ankle.
