Corinthian Colleges Names Corporate Director

* Tom E. Netting has been appointed corporate director, governmental relations for Corinthian Colleges Inc. in Santa Ana. He assumes a portion of the responsibilities of Lloyd W. Holland, an executive vice president and founder of the company who is planning to retire in September. Holland’s separate duties in business analysis and as assistant treasurer will be assumed by other Corinthian executives. Netting was formerly director of government relations for Career College Association.

* Larry R. Holt has been named field service operations national vice president for Lucent Technologies. He will establish the national office in Irvine. Holt was most recently sales and services division vice president, overseeing operations in the North Central, Rocky Mountain and Western areas of the country.

* Pamela Potts has joined Digital Media Online as national sales director. She was formerly West Coast sales manager for Post Magazine, regional sales manager for PC Graphics & Video and Digital Studio Magazines, sales and marketing manager of Variety’s Interactive CD-ROM Compact Variety, account executive for Film & Video Magazine, and the regional manager for Machine Design.

* Linda Dayan has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president of finance for PacifiCare Health Systems Inc. in Santa Ana. Dayan, who joined the company in 1993 as a senior financial analyst in corporate finance, had been director of finance prior to her new appointment. In addition, DeEtte Montgomery joined PacifiCare as vice president of network management. Previously, she was chief executive for the Torrance Hospital Independent Practice Assn.

* Roland Salazar has been named project manager for Ware & Malcomb Architects Inc. in Irvine. He was previously a job captain for Lee & Sakahara Architects in Irvine.

* Tim Bush has joined RiechesBaird Advertising in Irvine as studio artist. He had been a senior graphic designer at Vicari Advertising Inc. in Huntington Beach, and before that, was an associate designer at Longboard Magazine in San Clemente.

* Brian F. Horton has been appointed senior director of international sales for CMD Technology Inc. in Irvine. Horton has more than 25 years of storage systems experience at Storage Technology, Siemens, and Digital Equipment Corp., as well as several start-up companies. Prior to joining CMD, Horton was managing director of European operations for Intelliguard Software.

* Scott A. Crawford has joined Michael Brandman Associates, a Tustin environmental services, planning and natural resources management firm, as wildlife biologist. He has more than five years experience conducting herpetological, mammalian and avian surveys.

* Nancy Bourgeois has been appointed senior vice president of Aon Consulting Worldwide’s employee benefits division in Costa Mesa. She now works mainly with large national employers and educational institutions.
