Palo Alto Company Buys 3 Area Apartment Complexes

Essex Property Trust Inc., Palo Alto, has acquired three properties totaling 289 units in Glendale and Newport Beach.

Columbus and Lorain Apartments in Glendale and Fairways at Big Canyon Apartments in the Newport Beach were purchased for an aggregate contract price of $28.6 million, the company said.
