The nation’s largest read-in returns to Garden Grove Unified classrooms as teachers, volunteers and students take part in “Read Across America” on Tuesday, a nationwide effort to encourage children to read. The program falls on the birthday of the late author Theodor Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. Events include marathon pajama party read-ins, free book distributions and real green eggs and ham--a Dr. Seuss favorite--prepared by students. Information: (714) 663-6503.
