The Skate Park Task Force has narrowed the possible park locations to a private property near Walker Street and Lincoln Avenue and a spot at Oak Knoll Park behind the southwest corner of the Community Center.

The task force will take a closer look at the pros and cons of each site at its March 24 meeting and may give a recommendation to the Recreation and Park Commission in April. Task force members hope to get City Council approval by the end of June and a skate park ready to roll in the summer, said Marvin DeCarlo, director of the Recreation and Park District.
