Impeachment

* “Washington’s Insiders Couldn’t Cut Juice to Impeachment Engine” (March 3) tells us another problem we have with Bill Clinton. The reason the Democrat and the Republican members of Congress could not come to an agreement to censure and not impeach Clinton is because Clinton insisted that the impeachment be stopped first. With Clinton’s track record of lying, no member of Congress was willing to accept Clinton’s word.

We have a president that continues to lie about anything and everything, so no meaningful agreements will be reached during the remaining time he is in office.
