Two popular authors, Elizabeth George and Gordon McAlpine, will speak about their craft during Chapman University’s John Fowles Literary Festival Series this month. George, who writes psychological suspense novels and lives in Huntington Beach, will discuss and read from some of her works at 8 p.m. Thursday in Argyros Forum, Room 209. McAlpine is a professor of English and comparative literature at Chapman. He will speak at 8 p.m. March 23 in the Irvine Lecture Hall in Hashinger Hall. The university is at 333 N.
