Gangsters Allegedly Recruited on Internet

From Times Wire Reports

Law officers have accused a group of teenagers of recruiting gang members based on a Web site created by the group. Fayette County sheriff’s deputies obtained warrants to arrest five teens on charges of violating the Georgia Street Gang and Terrorism Act. If convicted of encouraging others to join the “Rollin 5 Crackaz,” the teens could be sentenced to 10 years in prison. Sheriff’s Maj. Bruce Jordan said the Web site, which gives the boys’ full names along with “street” names, is a recruiting tool--even though it does not solicit members for a gang in Fayetteville, a southern Atlanta suburb.
