The six International Olympic Committee members expelled Wednesday in the Salt Lake City bribery case (60 votes needed to expel; not all members present for all votes):

AGUSTIN ARROYO, 75, Ecuador. IOC member since 1968.* Utah investigators said Arroyo’s family received almost $21,000 in cash and benefits from Salt Lake bidders. Most of the money went to his stepdaughter, but the IOC found Arroyo himself received almost $7,000 for condominium fees on a ski vacation. He also received a golden retriever.

* Vote to expel: 72-12, 2 abstentions.

ZEIN EL ABDIN MOHAMED AHMED ABDEL GADIR, 58, Sudan. IOC member 1983-87; also since 1990. * Gadir’s son, Zuhair, received $17,000 from Salt Lake bidders while a student at Southern Mississippi, investigators found, and the IOC member benefited from other cash deposited in a phony bank account in France.

* Vote to expel: 86-4.

JEAN-CLAUDE GANGA, 64, Republic of Congo. IOC member since 1986. * Ganga, who led the African boycott of the 1976 Olympics in Montreal, and his family received $270,000 in cash, medical and travel expenses and lavish gifts from Salt Lake. He also made a $60,000 profit on a land deal in Utah arranged by a member of the Salt Lake bid and organizing committees.

* Vote to expel: 88-2.

LAMINE KEITA, 65, Mali. IOC member since 1977. * Investigators found that Keita “knowingly permitted” organizers to make payments totaling more than $97,000 from 1993-97 to support his son at University of Utah.

* Vote to expel: 72-16, 1 abstention.

SERGIO SANTANDER-FANTINI, 72, Chile. IOC member since 1992. * Santander received $10,000 from former Salt Lake Olympics chief Tom Welch to help finance his campaign for mayor of Pirque, near Santiago, Chile.

* Vote to expel: 76-12.

PAUL WALLWORK, 57, Samoa. IOC member since 1987. * Utah investigators said Wallwork’s wife received a $30,000 loan from Tom Welch, which was later repaid. The IOC investigation also said Wallwork’s family received more than $67,000 in travel benefits from Salt Lake.

* Vote to expel: 67-19, 2 abstentions.
