World Is Laughing at You, Gated Coto

Share

So the rich folk in Coto de Caza have cast their votes against an elementary school behind their gates (March 4).

It seems they don’t want any hoi polloi on their side of the gates.

Never mind that hundreds, probably thousands, of the “rest of us” are admitted daily to clean their homes, clean their pools, trim their lawns and look after their brats.

Do these people feel a kinship with their guardians? Do they know the name of even one of their gatekeepers?

Trust me--the rest of the world laughs at people who live behind gates.
