Grants Available for Outreach Groups
Community outreach groups that have a special or urgent need can now apply for a grant from the Ventura County Community Foundation.
The foundation’s grant program will distribute $250 to $2,000 for any immediate or one-time need.
“Examples might include an unbudgeted conference, an equipment failure or a special event or opportunity in a classroom,” said Gail Weller Brown, program director for the foundation.
Applicants must be a nonprofit, community-based group or a public entity serving Ventura County residents.
Funding will not be provided for political or partisan purposes, religious activities, endowment funds, capital campaigns, annual fund drives or grants to individuals.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. For more information, call 988-0196.
